The NY African Chorus Ensemble's presents "Celebrate Diversity, Celebrate You" Festival benefit for WBAI 99.5 FM Pacifica Radio.

"Legacy Women," an all-women group of singers, dancers and drummers rooted in Afro-Dominican and Afro-Puerto Rican traditions.


"Percussive Irish Music and Dance Ensemble", organized by World Champion step dancer and cultural educator Niall O'Leary.


The "NY African Chorus Ensemble," an award winning group of virtuoso vocalists, musicians and dancers directed by the NYACE founder, ethnomusicologist Joyce Adewumi, showcasing a wide range of African vocal music in choral settings.


"Birthright Crisis 2012," a film concerning the ongoing crisis faced by people of Haitian ancestry in the Dominican Republic, including many who were born there, but are being stripped of their Dominican citizenship and deported to Haiti (a neighboring land where most have never been).

Suggested Admission, just $15 – to benefit WBAI. No one turned away for lack of funds. There'll also be food and lots of space for dancing. (Pay at the door)
